I wonder why they changed her name from Princess Toadstool to Princess Peach...
Anyways...First inked with a pink micron brush pen. Then colored with watercolor on normal sketchbook paper...Had to make it very light so the paper wouldn't wrinkle up lol.
Well. For the sake of wanting to keep in my sketchbook I didn't tape... Plus, sketchbook paper is weaker than watercolor paper so I didn't want to tape it or it may rip up..
Shoulda made it on different paper! x3 oh well
It didn't really get very wavey because after each brush stroke I dried it with a napkin x_x
she actually changed her name =] in nintendo 64 when she was introduced while reading her letter to mario she adressed herself as , "Princeess Toadstool, Peach"

Marvelous work, words cannot express how gorgeous she looks.
I love the style and soft colouring, gives the illustration an unique mood. Peach looks stunning here, I like how you drew her gown, it's very detailed and elaborated.
On a related note, her name was always Peach in Japan, they changed it to "Toadstool" when Nintendo released the first Mario game in America.
